About Kinovoice

Kinovoice is an independent publication on film, series and Moscow theatre. We write long-form texts: reviews, essays and festival diaries. No press releases, no plot summary in place of a thought.

The publication grew out of the Russian-language Telegram channelkino_voice. Texts in a messenger are not indexed by search engines and are not accepted by festivals for accreditation, so they are now published here as well — on a site that can be found, quoted and linked to.

Editorial

Editor-in-chief: Betsy Isakova, media manager and contributor to Kinopoisk. All texts on the site are hers unless stated otherwise.

Languages

The main language of the publication is Russian. Selected texts are translated into English and published in this section. Every translation links to its original.
